A Utility’s revenue is similar to a SaaS company. Millions of monthly users are charged different fixed and variable rates based on how they use the system. Projecting revenue and designing rates for multiple customer segmentations (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Wholesale treated and raw, and reuse) can make forecasting revenue difficult. Creating data models and a visual dashboard linked to the millions of lines of customer data makes it easier for decision-making, viewing OKRs, and testing out new pricing.
